The watermelons are natural diuretics and accelerate the process of losing weight. They contain less than 50 calories in 150 grams. The large quantity of water has beneficial effect on the digestion and facilitates the secretion of the fluids as well as the toxins of the body. On the other side the Lemon, is at the top of the list of foods that contain the most antioxidants.Also thanks to the acid that lemon produces, the toxic materials and their influence would be neutralized.
RECIPE FOR LOSING WEIGHT:
- 3/4 glass of fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 1/4 glass of water
- 2 glasses watermelon juice
- 1/3 cup of sugar or some honey ( optional- can be leaved out)
- 8 – 10 leaves fresh mint
- Peel the watermelon and leave only the red part.Then cut into cubs, remove the seeds and put the slices in blender.
- Blend until you get juice. The resulting juice, strain through the strainer into a pitcher. Repeat the procedure until you have two cups of watermelon juice.
- Cut the lemons in half and squeeze. Add the sugar/honey in the squeezed lemon juice and stir it well.
- Mix the juices together ( the watermelon and the lemon juice). Add the water and mix again.
- Pour the juice into the jug, serve it with some ice-cubes and decorate it with the leaves of fresh mint.
