My Journey to Gluten Free and Raw Food

Many people today fight gluten intolerance, especially young. When you learn the fact that almost 70% of the regular daily foods are forbidden for you, it’s really shocking.

Starting desperately to look for Gluten Free Diets and experiences and suddenly… You found out that people using this diet might be one of the healthiest on earth, especially if they keep the diet raw!

My dear friend Marina shared her gluten intolerance story as well as her before and after result photos. She is a happy, good looking and no acne girl now, her story is really worth reading it:

Facing problem

Since I was a little girl, I had problems with Swollen Lymph Nodes, mouth ulcers, constant headaches, pain in joints, chicken skin, gaining weight (unable to lose weight), constantly feeling bloated and acne. Those were the issues that were bothering me for very long time. Many doctors said that there is no cure for swollen lymph nodes and mouth ulcers and that there is nothing to do about that, which is a great issue since swollen lymph nodes can become very dangerous to my health.

Gluten free diet is the solution

As I was researching the internet, there were few topics how a gluten free diet can solve all my problems. I researched a bit more about gluten free diet, simple enough… all I had to do is pay attention to wheat containing products and other gluten substances. It took around 1 month to get used to the new way of eating. On the other hand, I started to feel much much better. It took 3 months to start feeling the changes in my body.  After a long, long time, I started to lose weight (I lost 10 kilos with eating everything except gluten free foods)! I had more energy, felt lot lighter, didn’t have problems with any of the issues that I mentioned above. No more swollen lymph nodes, mouth ulcers, gaining weight, constantly feeling bloated and acne!!! This made me very happy, so I decided never to eat gluten again!

So far, I’ve been on a gluten free diet for 3 years now. As a result of not eating gluten foods, I started eating a lot of dairy products. This made the acne to return on my face…

Raw food kills the acne

I had another thing on mind. I decided to start a fully raw food diet. It was very difficult the first week. Sometimes I felt dizzy, but that was because I wasn’t eating a lot and did not drink a lot of water. Once I started to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and drink a lot of water, all of the problems with my dizziness are gone!

So far, I’m on a raw food diet for 2 months and not planning to stop anytime soon… 🙂 I think everybody should try eating raw for at least 10 days. Trust me, I’ve tried it!

My favorite recipe:

Gluten free
Chia Fruit Pudding

Put in a blender:

  • 1\2 Banana
  • 200 ml Almond Milk
  • 1\2 Peach
  • 1 tbsp Hemp Seed
  • 1 tbsp Grained Flax Seeds
  • 1 tsp Honey
In the blended mixture, put 2 tbsp of Chia seeds to make a Chia Pudding (put more Chia if needed)

Cut in pieces:

  • 1½ Peaches
  • ½ Banana
  • 5 Dried Plums

Put the mixture in a pot and add the chopped fruits. Top with crushed nuts and goji berries.
